Unsettled.

Our favorite weather word here is unsettled.

8AM Saturday morning.  Note rain drops on windows.
If its Saturday, must be the parkrun.  The crowd has grown (or, yes, we do have a few friends).

Q: How many PhDs does it take to run a 5K?
A: 4 + the photographer.
No PRs today.  Must be the unsettled weather.  After the race, EW and I walk down the road to the hockey pitch where Alice's game is in progress.

Half time at the Dragons game.  Not a cloud in the sky. But very, very , very windy.

Alice is now playing defense, both at Dragons and on her school team.  She is getting really good!

Alice battles to keep the ball out of enemy hands.  Note Montreal Canadians jersey on goal keeper.
The Dragon Ladies battled to a 1-1 tie vs Herlings, the top team in the league.  (Our Norwich Canaries did not do as well against Man C, Manchester City, the top team in their league; lost 5-1.)

It is 11AM and the shadows are long.  The sun reached 15.3º above the horizon today with a day length of 7hr, 57m 14s.   By contrast, in Durham the sun reached 32.1º  with a 9hr 53m 7s day.

We went home to thaw out and heat up with one of those showers where the water is cold on your hands and hot on your back.

Warmwards,
