Things Accomplished

Today we were fingerprinted and photographed for our UK visas, the first step in the last hurdle.   No pictures allowed inside; however, I am not sure that I would have had the time.  30 digits optically scanned and 3 ID photos snapped in under 20 minutes. Ah, that all government processes were so efficient...

British Influence #1: our first purchase here from things we learned over there.

Nespresso milk foamer. Hot or cold.  A cool foaming latte is shown to the left.

The view inside.  The stirrer is held in magnetically.  Shown is the one for cold. Takes about 1 minute. Carl will be the happiest as he sleeps just above our coffee machine and the foaming is quite an alarm clock.
