Sam goes to College too.

Today Sam went to his college.  He will be spending the next year in the care of Trevor Logston.  Trevor is first and foremost a bird lover.  He is also an accomplished musician, an avian specialist for the state of NC and a Scion driver.  Sam will learn so many new things under Trevor's loving and attentive care.

Sam is ready to go!

Yes we will miss him and yes our house is most definitely more empty and quiet without Sam.

Like the rest of us, Sam is off into the world to see and learn new things.  I will refrain from making a bird fledging reference here.
